Abstract

If a woman's ovarian volume is more than 10 cm3
or if there are 20 or more follicles in at least one
ovary that are 2-9 mm in diameter, she is diagnosed
with polycystic ovaries. [1] Polycystic ovarian
syndrome (PCOS) is characterised by abnormal
menstrual cycles, absent or delayed ovulation, and
elevated testosterone levels
